Typical scene in Taiwan 「らしい」写真

I thought it was typical scene in Taiwan, what do you think of it?
Coloring is quite different from Japan.

いかにも、な気がした。
色遣いが違うね。

Be hungry in Taiwan お腹をすかせて台湾へ

When I told my English teacher that I had been to Taiwan,
He told me to tell him about your travel except food in English.
Well, you know, it's very very famous for food in Taiwan
and it's common topic for Taiwan.
Although I'd like to tell him about it, it's OK.

I've never known about food at the stall, because I hadn't eaten anything.
The stall that is seen in the picture looks tasty, isn't it?
Enjoy it!

英会話の先生に台湾に行ってきたという話をしたら
食べ物以外の話で何処が良かったか話してみて。といきなり牽制されました。
まあ、食べ物の話は美味しくて有名だから定番でしょうが、
一応言いたいじゃない。ね。

このお店では写真を撮らせてもらっただけなので
お味の方は分かりません。
美味しそうな雰囲気を味わってくださいな。

Can' t stop staring him 気になる場面

Wherever I go, pictures that old guys in its must be taken by me.
I love them.
I guess that reminds me my grandfather that he has died many years ago.

It tensed me that the guy with a dog was crossing the road that are in many cars and motorbikes.
I wondered if he was able to cross the road safely.
Fortunatly I worried needlessly.

何処に行ってもおじいちゃんの写真を撮るのが大好き。
どうしてでしょうね、亡くなったおじいちゃんを思い出すからかしらん。

この場面、無事に渡れるかちょっと緊張しながら見る。
でも、ゆっくりだけどすいーっと動いていく。問題ない。
あれほどの運転事情の国でも、
お年寄りは不思議と堂々と危なげなく(?)渡っている。
それに比べて何度轢かれそうになったことか。

Decor is nice そそられるお店

The guy's shop is located near my friend's house in Taipei.
It is opened widely and showed us groceries, magazines, etc on the floor and shelf.
It's practical use.
Although I don't need anything,
the shop get me interest that I'm buying something.

I prefer this style to convenience store for atmosphere.

このおじいさんのお店は友達の家の近くにありました。
店構えが開放的というか、旨く壁面を有効活用というか
とりあえず歩いてるとすごく目につく。
さして買う物もないけど、何かを買ってみたくなる。
そんな気持になりました。

コンビニは便利だけど
こっちの方が絵になるので好きです。

Tasty and funny fishes お魚くん、ごちそうさま

At first day I arrived in Taiwan,
my friends took me the restaurant that they served excellent fishes.
Before I heard of it, I have never known that Taiwanese eat raw fishes.
That made me surprised.
The reason why is influences of Japanese in many many years ago.

Anyway, How lovely they were!!

と書いたんだけど、例によって口数の少ない記事に。

台北初日に、友達がお魚の美味しいお店に連れて行ってくれました。
お刺身は日本人の名残で皆さんお召し上がりになるそうよ。

氷に刺さってる魚の顔がたまりません。

You will enjoy in cat cafe 猫カフェ in Taipei

When we talked about a plan what we were going to do in Taipei,
my friend told me about the cat cafe.
I decided to go there as soon as I caught it.

Seen on the previous article, there are so many cats in the cafe.
They can do everything, eat, nap and play.
Actually I've thought it's probably impossible to have such cafe in Japan.
Because unfortunately it's not clean as a place that have something to eat.
So we didn't feel like eating anything and had only tea.

Definitely you will never talk with your friends, I bet.
I really experienced the truth on that day.

"How cute and lovely they are!"
"Look them"
"Oh, he's gone"
"Come on, come on"

These phrases are repeated endlessly.

台湾に着いたその日に友達と何しようと
あれこれ相談してたときに、猫カフェの話を聞きました。
聞いた瞬間に、行くこと決定！

前にも書いたけど猫が沢山放し飼いになっているカフェですね。
衛生面からいくと、日本では開店出来なさそうで、残念ですが。
さすがに御飯を食べる気にはなれなかったね。

ここを訪れた人はきっと猫に夢中になっちゃって
会話しなくなるでしょう。と、実体験から言えます。

「可愛い〜」
「あの猫、見て〜」
「あー、行っちゃったー」
「あ、来たよ、来たよ」
それに加えて、無言で写真撮りまくり。×無限大です。

A short trip in the menu メニューでたどる言葉の旅

If you could understand English, Japanese and Chinese, you will feel it's funny.
We understood this translation in the menu in a Chinese restaurant,
it made us smile.
I'm not trilingual but we have advantage of Chinese characters.
So we found these translation that were a little bit strange.

Anyway, my English in my blog might not be correct at ggrammatical point.
If found, tell me about it please.

「メニューでたどる言葉の旅」なんて言いましたが、
写真一枚きりです。

こういうのって
見つけると少し嬉しくなります。くすり、にやり。

「紹興酒漬けの酔っぱらい鳥」って
絵本や物語の脇役として出てきそうなイメージです。

このメニューは一旦中国語から英語にして、その英語を日本語にしてるのかな。
段階を経て不思議な変化を遂げていくのが
面白いですね。

それはさておき、このブログの英語もかなり怪しいとみた。
人のことを笑っている場合じゃないかもしれないですね。
間違いに気付いたら教えてくださいな。

The latest National Palace Museum 新しくなった故宮博物館

It was second time to visit national palace museum in Taipei.

I took this pictures by digital auto focus camera.

It was very impressive for me to see the master piece this time,
because being mature than before I visited and redecorating inside museum.

Too many fine arts to see whole them for me.
However I tell me that I can come to see here again.

二度目の故宮博物館。こちらもデジカメ。
自分が大人になったことと
内部がリニューアルして見やすくなったことと
併せた結果、じっくり見られて心に焼き付いた。

陶器、工芸、印、書、水墨画などなど
本当に優れたものが沢山ありました。
ありすぎて全部を見ることは出来なかった。
でも、また行けばいいやと。
焦るのはやめた。

とっても綺麗になったんだけれど、
どうも元々あったその場所らしさ（台湾らしさ）が
薄まっているのでは、と思った。

開放的な入り口。
大きなガラス窓の下は吹き抜け。
ミュージアムカフェ、なんとなくおしゃれ。
ミュージアムショップ、なんとなくおしゃれ。
パンフレット、デザインがおしゃれ。

そういうのは他にも沢山ある、
だからその「らしさ」を大事にしたらいいのになと思いました。
世界はある局面では似通いつつあるのかな。

Back from healing Taiwan 癒しの台北より帰国

Before I got the so many pictures from DPE shop,
let me show you some pictures taken by digital camera.

Here is cat cafe, there were many many cats there, that's all.
It's located in Taipei.

Cats could play or nap as they wanted.
We touched, touched, touched.
It's lovely!!

The cat in this picture catnaped on the table in front of me.
You will see the cat stretche himself.
Too much "cute" were said at that night.

台湾での写真が現像される前にデジカメで撮ったのをいくつか。

これ、猫カフェにて。台北にあるのです。
喫茶店に猫が二十匹くらい放し飼いになっているんです。
衛生面とか色々思うことはありますが、それはさておき。

猫はやりたい放題。
お客さんはさわりたい放題。
素敵！

この子は私の席のテーブルでうたた寝。
うぅーんと伸び。
「可愛い」と何度言ったことか。。。

Departure for Taipei いざ台北！

I am going to travel in Taiwan for 5 days and to see my friend.
That sounds good to me.
I can't help smiling. :-))

ほとんど台北付近だと思います。

楽しみで顔がにやけます♪
五年前に行ったけど細かいところは結構忘れてしまったので
